Apprenticeship

Businessmen/women for freight forwarding and logistics services work in the national and international logistics business. As a mediator between customers, suppliers, warehouse-workers and drivers, you coordinate all logistic tasks for the distribution, handling and the storage of goods. In the apprenticeship, you learn comprehensive knowledge and skills in the area of international freight traffic. In the trade school, you learn about the theoretical background of the logistics business. As active employees, the apprentices form an important part of the company and contribute directly to the success of the business.

Duration of the apprenticeship: 2,5 or 3 years.
Option on permanent position: Normally, the apprentices are offered a permanent position at the end of their apprenticeship.

Areas of competence of the job
- Customer service
- Calculation of prices and offers
- Planning of national and international routes
- Consideration of customs and foreign trading regulations
- Order picking and disposing of goods

- Confident appearance, developed communication skills
- Interest in the contact and communication with customers and partners
- Very good German and good English language skills

Businessmen/women for office management take on different organizational and commercial tasks within the company. They manage the smooth communication and organization within the comany. In different departments, for example accounting or customer service, they manage multiple interesting tasks.
